The Expanse of Your Excitement

I drink water.  I drink it, but I don’t think abut it much unless I’m on a kick to add it to my daily food log.  I should think about it more.  So should you according to my friend.  In fact, she thinks about the need for clean drinking water so much that she travels all over the world digging wells.

When she started talking about how much clean water changes lives, my uninterested brain started to become interested.  “She’s right!” I exclaim.  “The world needs clean drinking water!”.

The very liquid I chug down, mark off my list and don’t give two second’s thought about has now become an important social issue to me.  I not only appreciate the crisp clean water I’m drinking, but I want to encourage her and others in their endeavor to bring it to the rest of the world.

Her excitement has an expanse.  It has an affect.  Sure, her well-digging activities have an affect.  That’s a given.  My point is that her EXCITEMENT had an affect.

Our excitement and passion has an expanse.  The things we are individually excited about can lead to passions and convictions and actual change.  Your excitement changes the world.
